The bronze Jizo for the Jizo Peace Center arrived in April, 2007. This Jizo immediately had a presence as he came out of his wooden crate! World renowned sculptor Edmond Shumpert patterned the bronze after a stone Jizo photographed at Kiyomizudera Temple, Japan.

Everyone is welcome to visit the Jizo Peace Center to experience the peace of meditating in front of our wonderful Jizo!
